IPATH Northwest Trip.

My battery died out a week prior to this trip while I was in SF. Got it charged in Seattle on the second day so here we are in Seattle after a long drive straight from SF.

Sabback and Puleo....yawn. this blog is already boring.

Oh wait! We did have a celebrity among us. Its Michael J. Fox!

Glen Danzig, aka Fred Gall when skating.

John Trippe was there as well to blog the hell out of this trip.

Marshall from Manik Skateboards was nice enough to show us around and provide some ledge butta.

Puleo getting his back-t on.

Then I found my true love, Honey Dew Cheese Curls.

It must be weird if you are not a skateboarder and you see a bunch of grown dudes looking at a handrail.

Nilton was on the trip too. Hmm. I think he was sporting a new look.

Oh by the way, we stayed at this amazing house thanks to Jill Hansen (owner of the Skatebarn.)

Nilton getting his tan on.

Then out of nowhere the "traveler" showed up. As usuall he was sporting a new hat from his recent travels. or maybe it was from urban outfitters.

Getting our brush on. Is that Matt Rodriguez? Oh yeah, he's on the trip too. I'm only on a trip with some of my favorite skateboarders.

Team photo.

Puleo and Reed.

After a bunch of shredding and documentation we were off to Portland. Sabback was getting cabin (van) fever.

After a short drive we had to get our grub on

Once we got to Portland and got some grub Barker was happy. Barker was the TM on this trip.

Next morning it was raining.

Found out that little Trippy got pick pocketed the night before. He asked me for some change and I gave him a dirty look.

Pat Smith sighting.

Coda team was there too.

Kruger was documenting the Coda trip. I felt like I was right back home in NYC.

Kruger's Fishy

Burnside dawgs.

It was raining all day so I walked around looking for spots.

Rain.

Next day was dry and we were ready to roll. Quim's set up.

Quim time.

Pre-demo grub hunt.

Danger sighting

Mike Chin sighting.

Osage Buffalo sighting. He taught me how to "floss", a fishing technique they use up in the river to catch salmon. its pretty interesting.

This doesn't really show how good Barker is on ramps but...

Can you see Barkers portrait on the wall?

Jack's smelly feet.

Podiatrist view.

Karl and Matt flew in like rockstars for the demo. I think they were on the IPATH private jet.

Sabback and Reed

Karl and Nilton

L.J. showed up too. L.J. and Nilton

Later that night we went to a bar to see Nate Jones band play. They drove up to Portland in their own van the night before.

Nate's set up.

Wilburn was there killing it as usuall but this time it was on the pool table. I think he beat my ass twice.

Trippy taking a blogging break with Sabback.

Mike Fox and I chowed down on someone's leftover nachos. PBMH (Poor Broke Media Heads.)

Choppy sighting.

My new friend and I started our own group. DKU (Deaf Kids United.) We already got sued by DGK for using the letters D and K in our name. Apparently they own the copyrights to the letters D and K.

Later that night we went to a party where we were told, "dude, there going to be a bunch of chicks there!" They turned out to be a bunch of lesbians. Pretty much barking up the wrong tree.

The next day some peeps were pretty much useless.

Being a Pile.

I think everyone was hungover.

but some of us still had to shoot photos and get 'er done.

Mike Fox was just happy to be going home that night.

Rodriguez was still being funny.

Reed wearing my hat. I later lost it as I was leaving the hotel/Portland. Hmmm... Kenny sure did like my hat.

Reed chowing down before leaving.

Later that night Puleo and I took the red eye back to NYC.

Next morning I was so excited to be back that I took a picture of this building as the sun was rising

As I rolled up to my neighborhood I spotted my neighbor basking in the sun.
